Hi Panthers! I am excited to be joining the New Prospect team. I previously taught Special Education at Alpharetta Elementary grades 1-5. I am amazed watching children develop their minds and personalities as they grow. I am married and have two rescue pups, Molly and Shelby, who run the household. I have a son and daughter-in-law who have blessed us with two beautiful granddaughters. I am the oldest of six children and love spending time with my family. My husband, Mike, and I enjoy challenging walking trails and finding new adventures through travel. Although, you can always find me watching football during the winter months (GO DAWGS!) or on a beach in the summer listening to Jimmy Buffet and Bob Marley. Linda Miranda
Hello and welcome to NPE! I am the Parapro working with Mrs. Smith. I am so excited to get to know your children as we begin our adventures in Kindergarten! It will be an amazing year! This is my 15th year at New Prospect and it truly is the BEST school! My family and I moved to GA from NJ 25 years ago. My daughter is a 2nd grade teacher in Forsyth Co, and my son and daughter-in-law live in Roswell. I also have the sweetest rescue dog, Maddie! I enjoy the beach, crafting, decorating, and gardening. |

Welcome to Kindergarten! I’m a paraprofessional at New Prospect Elementary. This is my 7th year as a paraprofessional. My goal is to support your child’s education and instill a love of learning. My husband, Kevin, and I are parents of two boys Marc(17) and Aaron(20) and our new puppy, Stella. We live right here in Alpharetta so my children also attended NPES. I grew up in the Chicago IL area and have also lived in Colorado and Hawaii. In my spare time I love gardening, cooking, reading, and spending time at the beach. Thank you for entrusting me with your children. We are going to have a great year! Debbie Cheshier
I am so excited to be part of your child’s 2023-2024 Kindergarten school year. I am a proud mother of an adult daughter. Outside of the classroom, I love to travel, spend time with my family and friends. My favorite activity is spending an evening at the theatre. This is my 24th year at New Prospect, 20 of those have been in Special Education. I’m looking forward to this school year as we grow together. Amy Spann
This will be my 5th year at New Prospect Elementary as a kindergarten paraprofessional and my 7th year with Fulton County Schools. Before coming to Fulton County Schools, I taught Pre-K for four years. I was born and raised in Georgia. I went to the University of Georgia and have a degree in Child and Family Development and a minor in Education. I just celebrated 20 years of marriage with my husband Michael. Together we have 3 wonderful children: Britton (16), Carter (14), and Ava (12). I am so excited to get to know your child and help them become lifelong learners.
